Sakina trained for three and a half years at the prestigious College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, in Reading. Upon graduating, she opened her own successful private practice in Norwich and worked as a volunteer at a busy community acupuncture clinic. Then In 2011, to broaden her experience, she accepted a position on a luxury cruise liner. The ship’s six-star spa provided treatments only of the highest quality. Sakina administered several hundred treatments, covering a range of conditions, from digestive disorders to headnaches to back and joint pain. Once she returned to the UK in 2012, she decided to move to Scotland where she successfully practised privately until the beginning of 2015. She has now moved to Brighton, as her husband has been offered a new job in London, and she is now opening her new practice at the beautiful Wilbury Clinic, only a few minutes away from Hove Train Station
Sakina is a fully qualified acupuncturist, and in her practice, she combines TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Five-Element acupuncture, two of the most common and most effective forms of traditional acupuncture. TCM is well suited to treating a wide range of physical, mental and emotional symptoms; whereas the Five-Element style focuses primarily on treating the underlying constitution of the person, thereby bringing about profound changes in a person’s sense of well-being.
She holds the following qualifications:

- Licensed Acupuncturist (LicAc)
- International Massage Therapy Qualifications Council Level 3 (ITEC Level 3)
